Tania earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in painting at Boston University’s School of Fine Arts. After studying painting in Rome for two years, she earned her Masters of Fine Arts at Indiana University, Bloomington. She then traveled to Madrid to paint for two years on a Fulbright grant.
Tania’s work has been exhibited in New York, Madrid, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, and other cities. One of her paintings hangs in the permanent collection of the Borowsky Gallery in Philadelphia, while many others hang in private collections.
Since 1996, Tania has lived in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, the writer Andrew Wingfield. They have two sons. Tania teaches privately in her studio and offers courses and workshops through the Art League of Alexandria.
